I've worked with children in my family setting from birth, not only this but I have also worked in childcare settings such as nurseries and schools where I have worked with children up to the age of nine years old. I love seeing children develop, learning and playing through both independent and with myself. I believe the best way for children to learn and express themselves is through creative play or work. I've also had the opportunity to work with children with special needs which is where my passion lies when I qualify in university. I have a huge understanding and empathy for both children with additional needs and their families or carers as I have personal experience of this. As a creative person myself working with children allows me to get that out and teach them new things while having fun. I'm passionate about making learning a fun experience that children will remember for all the right reasons. I'm also a true believer in reading books to help learning and communication. Any small activities you do with children can build a positive relationship with them which will shape them for the future, I'm passionate about building the morals you have for your children into them.
