Hello, My name is Krishi. I am a 21 year old student at Loughborough University on my placement here back home, in Hertfordshire (EN7.) I have a full driving licence and a car to travel with. My main form of looking after children and young teens was when I was in sixth form. Here, I volunteered as a mentor to Year 7 to 9 with their homework during break and lunch times, as well as after school. This also involved helping the students with social problems which they encountered, such as, bullying or other general anxiety problems. I was often seen as a mediator between the younger years and helped all that were involved. During my this time at school, I also volunteered with educational and community based events such as sports days, local elderly parties and primary school discos. Throughout my teenage years I have spent time looking after my younger cousins, when their parents where not available.
