I am passionate about caring for and teaching children to ensure they thrive. With a secure pedagogy of how children learn in their formative years I feel passionate about children learning through playful, creative learning opportunities. Supporting children to learn through self discovery and exploration; whilst learning through a range of practical and meaningful interactions. I strongly believe that learning and development should be nurtured through a journey of self discovery. Due to embracing many years in cities, unfortunately I do not drive. I am a veggie and like to lead a healthy lifestyle. I love being out and about walking and exploring familiar and new places and countries. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher with 15 years experience. I have a wealth of childcare and teaching experiences across a range of provisions including: in local early years settings across Bournemouth and Poole. Teaching in a prestigious Chelsea Kindergarten, 1:1 tuition for EYFS & KS1. Teaching art in a local primary school. As an early years teacher I have specialist experience of working with babies through to 4 years old, supporting children to develop through age and stage appropriate activities during their foundations years.
