I work at a School in Chorley, Lancashire and I have just completed my Level 3 qualification. I am looking to relocate to Southend-on-Sea. I have 3 years experience in special needs education, ages 2-10 years old. I am looking for regular work within the area. Children learn through play and I feel that I can be very inventive in finding fun ways to teach children through different forms of play. I find my job extremely rewarding because I am able to see children progress. In my time at the School, I have worked with pupils with a number of different conditions including challenging behaviour, ASD, SLD, MLD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and a lot more. In my job, I am patient, calm, caring, compassionate, creative and always willing to learn. I have great time-keeping skills and I am reliable. I have good knowledge of child development and I can use this knowledge to make fun activities. I enjoy doing art and music activities particularly and I use music within learning a lot. I am good at dealing with behaviours as I deal with it every day continuously in my current job with special educational needs' children and I feel that I can deal with it in a very calm way.
