I studied Child and Youth Care with Addictions Counselling and suicide intervention. I worked in social work but was given an opportunity to work in private childcare and tutoring and loved the opportunity to create my own lessons for children individually and watch them grow in a positive and encouraging environment provided as a team from both parent and myself. I continued private child care for the past 9 years. My philosophy is to provide an encouraging and positive environment to promote confidence and independence in children.
