Throughout my 14 year career as a nanny I have built and maintained a reputation as being hard-working, reliable, kind and professional. I have developed many skills which enable me to motivate, encourage and support children to maintain an active, happy lifestyle. I have worked with a wide range of ages from babies up to school age & have lots of experience at dealing with weaning, potty training & all developmental milestones. With a background in sports, health and nutrition I understand the value of a healthy balanced diet and I enjoy cooking and educating children about food. I am aware of food allergies and the complications these can cause. I have over 25 years experience in first aid and am confident dealing  with emergency situations that might arise in regards to medical conditions. I enjoy singing & dancing and getting messy with arts & crafts. I love to read and encourage learning through play, creating experiments and activities with different materials. I believe it is very important for children to enjoy a varied & active lifestyle & always strive to provide a stimulating, fun & educational environment for the children in my care.
