Hello i’m Kelcey, I’m a third year social work masters student at the university of Huddersfield. I have had many opportunities with children, I have done work placements in schools and nurseries. I also previously looking after my mums friends children ages at the time 1/2 years, 7-8 years & 11-12 years of different genders. I collected them from school, played with them, took them to the park, cooked them dinner, bathed them and put them to bed. I really enjoy working with children and getting to know them including forming bonds with each of them. I also have many younger siblings including one with addition needs. I have knowledge from studying level 3 health and social care and studying my degree about different learning difficulties and needs for any child. It would also be good experience for me as I am wanting to go into children and family social work so any work is beneficial. I think I would be fit for a babysitting job when i am needed to earn some extra money around university and to help out people who need it.
