Having gained a level 2 qualification in childcare and worked within nurseries, schools, children's centres and then adult care. After which I moved onto working within the mental health sector alongside CAMHS psychologists. I have then gone onto begin a degree with the open university, this year I will be focusing my study on child psychology. I have a real passion in allowing children the space to play in order to learn and grow. I always found the nursery setting to be strict and regimented, whereas I would prefer to give the children the space they need to be able to make their own choices on what they would like to learn and play. My practice is very much child-lead.
