I love working with children and have lots of experience babysitting and looking after children. I have just returned from spending 3 months in Canada where I volunteered leading young people from disadvantaged canoe trips in the Ontario backcountry. I thrived in this position and am keen to expand my experience working with children; I also gained a Wilderness First Aid qualification and International Child Protection Certificate, as well as crisis intervention training and experience working with teenagers with SEN. I have been a nanny for children ranging from 4 months (twins) to 7 years old and also have experience in looking after children whose first language is not English. In October I spent a month as an au pair in Bari, Italy and volunteered to teach French to pupils at Fen Ditton primary school. I am a very chatty, friendly and reliable person who likes travelling and meeting people from around the world. Family is extremely important to me; at home I live with my parents, younger brother, dog and two cats. I am always full of energy so love working with children and animals.
