I have experience working for a preschool in Weymouth as a relief childcare assistant, taking care of children from the ages of 2 to 5. In this role, I worked hard to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for the children. I kept records of incidents/accidents, and communicated these to the parents. I encouraged children enjoy learning/playing with age-appropriate books or activities. I maintained a clean and organised environment at all times, being proactive in disinfecting toys, wiping down surfaces and tidying. I babysat for the same family for over 7 years! I cared for three children, one from a newborn until she was 5 years old. I also tutored their 7 year old in maths, literacy and reading - happy to help out with this if needed. They recently moved away so now I am looking forward to finding my next family!
