I am a qualified registered Learning Disability Nurse and currently work 3 shifts a week. Within my nursing skills I have good communication abilities, I am fully experienced in personal care from bathing to toileting & I really enjoy building good relationships. I come from a large loving family ( 1 of 5 daughters) and I am an Aunty of 6. I have often been the go to Aunty for babysitting as I am free a lot with only working the 3 nursing shifts a week. I enjoy taking the kids out to the park, picnics, swimming, museums, cinema, reading stories, playing make believe games and generally just being in their company. I have worked 1:1 with children with additional support or learning needs. In the past I have worked in an after school care with a young child with Autism. I have experience working with kids during my university placement in a primary school. Through the years I have been a leader in the Rainbows, Brownies, and Girl Guides looking after children of a variety of ages. My friends would describe me as a caring and compassionate person who is friendly and approachable. I have 2 cats and a dog so pets are not a problem for me. I can happily add in pet walks/feeding whilst looking after the children.
