Hi there, I am Kat. A bubbly and passionate 18 year old with lots of childcare experience and knowledge. I am a determined, proactive person, who will complete any tasks to the highest standard. I am effective at communicating with parents and any professionals that may need to be bought in to support the child's development. When working I hold the importance of supporting the family as a unit. I have experiences with all ages of children and those with multiple Special Needs, through supporting my parents with their childminding business from 2012-2019. My experience as a babysitter and assisting my parents, demonstrates that I have patience, kindness, sensitivity, and the ability to manage the practical needs and safety of babies and children. I have also worked supporting a child on a one to one basis who struggles with their mental health and also had special needs, after school in their own home. Since 2021 I have been working for a charity which supports children with autism, this has provided me with further understanding, knowledge and training to ensure that I am suitable in supporting children with their individual needs.
