Hi! My name is Katie! I'm a 23 year old, DBS checked qualified Teacher living in Clapham, London. Having finished my PGCE in Early Primary Education (age 3-7) at the University of Cambridge last summer, I am now working full time as a Teacher at a renowned pre-prep school in Chelsea. Therefore, I am only available for ad-hoc babysitting roles on the evenings and weekends. Prior to my PGCE, I gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Studies at the University of Bristol, completing units such as developmental psychology and health in the early years as well as my dissertation on the importance of learning through play. Whilst the current class I teach are aged 2-3, I have a wide range of previous experience caring for and educating children from the age of 8 months to 15 years. My babysitting experience has often also included covering for the family’s usual nanny or carer, so I am used to this role.
