Hello! Thank you for taking a look at my profile. My name is Katie, I'm 28 years old and in live in Oxford. I love singing, reading and anything creative. Working with children is what I love to do; they’re a joy to be around and I’m not afraid to get down to their level and get fully stuck into whatever activity they’re doing. I am a fully qualified Level 3 practitioner in early years childcare and have a valid DBS that I can provide upon request. I’m also SEN, safeguarding and first aid trained. I have over 5 years professional experience working with children, previously working as a nursery team leader to help children develop and learn through play. I am experienced as a Behaviour Support Specialist; supporting children who are struggling with their mental health/well-being, utilising person centred approaches and therapeutic strategies. I am currently working towards qualifications in Psychotherapy; aiming to support children and young people in the future.
