After carrying out the majority of my education in the health and care sector I branched out to employment looking after individuals with ‘additional needs’ and disabilities. i have a good connection with children and although I have no official employment within a childcare sector I am ‘auntie katie’ to a large amount of children and have developed care skills to work with children of all ages, abilities and emotions. Experience with school drop offs and pick ups, days out, bedtime routines, meal times and general childcare. I have been in close contact with children whom are part of the foster system and have an understanding of how every child has their own individual needs. I have had a full DBS checked carried out by social services in order to allow for my involvement with my cousins foster children. I am a caring individual and I am very interesting in developing my abilities within a new employment area.
