I have a 1st class degree in Childhood studies from the University of Leeds. I have more than ten years experience working with children in a variety of settings. I have worked in an after school club for two years before my studies at university and (several) nurseries when I was completing my degree. In the after school club I worked with children from the age of five to ten years old. In the day nurseries I worked with babies up to four years old, (the main age group I worked with was preschool). Both jobs I really enjoyed and I have loved experiencing different age groups. I also have a particular interest in sport and physical activity. I am a qualified trampolining coach and preschool gymnastics coach. I currently coach preschool gymnastics and really enjoy my job. However I am looking for more work. I believe I am kind, caring and passionate about children. I care deeply about their education, well-being and development. I have my own car, a clean licence and I am DBS checked.
