For most of my life I have been surrounding by children. Prior to completing a PGCE course in Primary Education in 2019, I used to teach baby ballet classes every Saturday as well as volunteering at Lighthouse summer camps to look after a diverse group of children for one week. One of my favourite moments at School: It was the end of the school day on my birthday, a little boy called Noah* held out a crumpled up chocolate that he had previously sat on by accident and happily said 'Happy Birthday, Miss Kat!' No words can express the sincerity and pureness of that moment that completely melted my heart. After completing my PGCE, I felt that the demands of teaching outside of the classroom were too much for me. I have since been doing an office job, but feeling that my life is missing the sparkle that the children bring. I would love to spend some time taking care of children so that parents can have some much needed time to focus on something else, whether that's date night, a work shift or another priority.
