I am 46 years old and I live in Inverkip with my partner and my 3 children aged 10, 15 and 24. In 2019 I studied Early year’s education. After 2 years I qualified as an Early Years Education and Childcare Officer. I have been working for the council on supply and that led to me working in a nursery for a year temporarily. I pride myself on keeping a very tidy ,clean home and I enjoy cooking meals. I am also a keen gardener. As a family we like to go for walks. I understand the importance of making sure that children are safe. In my job I am constantly assessing the environment around to make sure that children are safe. I have dealt with many accidents where I have administered basic first aid and comfort and also assessed to see if further help is required.I am very fast at reacting and always thinking ahead and planning. I have a passion to work with children and I enjoy using the things that I have learned to facilitate an environment where children can learn through play. I know how important it is to have a good relationship with the children and their parents. This makes both children and parents feel at ease, happy, safe and trust in my ability.
