I’m 21 years old and currently studying for my degree in contemporary arts, in my second year. Before this I studied childcare for a year which gave me a level 5 qualification, along with training in first aid and a PVG certificate. Although I am very young, I’ve had experience with looking after kids since I was 16. I have 9 soon to be 10 nieces and nephews ranging from 9 months to 11 years old. I have spent my days off university informally baby sitting whilst my siblings work. A typical day includes making breakfast, getting them ready, keeping them entertained etc. Having enjoyed it so much I’ve decided to peruse it as a way of earning extra money. I’m pretty flexible especially in the summer. During my term time in university I’m available 2 weekdays and every weekend, day or night. I’m also a non smoker and very rarely drink. My background with the arts is something I love to introduce to the kids I look after. My main aim is so spend my time doing something I love which is looking after children.
