My name is Julia, I am the eldest girl of my 4 siblings and was a cornerstone in my family in regards to child care and raising of my family. I largely contributed to raising my younger brother from the age of 8 and helped my older brothers get through high school, while being a full time athlete and straight A student. After graduating from school I went on to work at an after school daycare where I was responsible for the care of 15-20 children, monitoring outdoor play, organizing arts and crafts, reading time, snack time, and parent pick up. I have also done my fair share of baby sitting children of all ages, but I am now looking for something more permanent as a way to transition out of hospitality management, which has been my main source of income for the last few years. My experience there has built up my organizational skills, people skills, and crisis management, all of which are skills I believe make for well rounded child care.
