I am fully qualified child care practitioner with SVQ 3 & 4 in Childcare Learning and Development. I also have training in first aid, child protection, food hygiene, managing challenging behaviour and fire safety. I have worked in nursery and after school care settings for 13 years and over this time I have gained qualifications, skills and experience in creating and maintaining a safe, secure and stimulating environment taking into consideration the children's ages abilities and interests. I have a variety of skills and experience in developing an environment that incorporates a wide variety of types of play to aid in the child's development. I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as arts and craft, photography, cycling and reading which I have introduced to the children in my care to great success.
