For the past two years, I have been volunteering with an organisation called in deep where they run children's music therapy sessions with children who have special needs and in the sessions I sit with the children, keep them safe, encourage them to play instruments and observe their personal development. I also fill out monitoring forms for children at the end of sessions to record their levels of improvement and any levels of difficulty. The ages of the children I have been working with range between 1 and 15 years. Also, in 2016, I volunteered for two Saturdays l where I supported children aged 11-15 who had disabilities by helping them to play and walking around with them to accompany them and make sure they were safe. In 2016, I also attended four evening training sessions with Resources for Autism. I have also recently completed a CACHE Level three award in preparing to work in home based child care qualification with the child care company and I worked through this course online by completing a number of written assignments. I have also just completed a level 3 Pediatric First Aid Qualification with Tiger Lily. I also have a DBS certificate.
