I am a mother of 2 grown up children. My daughter has just finished at Bristol University and got a first class degree in mathematics. My son is studying for his A Levels. Recently i have looked after a one month old for 5 months and a 5 month old for 9 months. My last job was looking after a premature baby for a professional couple who work at Bristol University. I looked after their daughter from the age of 4 months until she was 16 months. I took her to toddler groups/the zoo/parks/libraries and for vaccinations. I worked at a Nursery for 11 years as an SMSA. I worked there for my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare for one year too. I qualified in May 2013. I worked in a Primary School after school club for 3 years. I was a Nanny/Mother's Help for six years. The family had a 3 and 4 year old. A few years later, mum had a new baby and I had sole charge after six weeks. Since I have had my own children, I have always looked after other people's children alongside my own, in my own home and in theirs. I have also looked after children after school. I love helping/nurturing children to achieve their full potential. I am very much looking forward to my next job in childcare.
