I have been passionate about taking care of children since the age of 3 (really) and have been extremely hands on in the care of my younger sister who was born with physical disabilities. This has allowed me to adapt to specific care needs and I now have 8 years experience in this. I also have 4 years experience being a private tutor for kids aged 6-11, both 1-to-1 and in groups of up to 30 at a time. My students included those with special educational needs and those with exceptional educational needs which has exposed me to the whole spectrum. I love to cook and create! I have always made what I call a ‘passionate mess’ with them since I was young but the only thing that’s changed since is that I’m better at cleaning them up now (I promise)! I work to get to know each child (or pet) individually and get along with them very well which builds trust and mutual respect and creates a much more positive environment!
