Hello my name is Joanne and I live with my partner and 13 year old daughter in the Rumney area of Cardiff with excellent links to Newport Rd and all bus services leading to Cardiff Central and Newport. I have been Childminding for over 20 years and have experience of working with children from birth to 13 years, I also have twin experience. I hold an NVQ level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development, along with Paediatric First Aid, Advanced Child Protection Level 1 & 2, Food Hygiene and various other courses. I am registered with the CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) and DBS checked. I offer a warm and secure learning environment which feels like home from home. The activities I provide are based on the foundation phase learning through play! I have a wide range of baby toys and equipment. Learning resources such as books, puzzles, construction blocks, small world, imaginative play, roll play with dressing up Craft and play dough and a variety of outdoor equipment just to name a few! We take regular day trips to playgroups, the library, soft play sessions, parks and farms. I believe in positive reinforcement and lots of fun and games!!
