I am a portuguese theatre-maker, currently writing my dissertation for a post-graduate degree at Goldsmiths University of London. I am passionate about children and creating art for and with them. I have experience working with children as a teacher, private tutor, summer camp monitor, and nanny. I moved to London in 2019 where I have been working as a drama teacher in the Saturday school Make Believe Clapham, with children aged 3-12. I have been working for the past three months as a nanny for a toddler (18 months) - I accompany his full routine from 9am to 6pm, including getting dressed, preparing meals, changing nappies, putting him to sleep and having lots of fun! My background in theatre work and strong non-verbal communication skills make me a very patient and fun nanny, and also trained to remain calm in stressful situations. I love to promote creative activities, including music, drawing, puppetry, and play in general, especially outside. I believe children must have their own voice and feel comfortable in expressing their own needs and wishes, within a limited set of boundaries. I speak fluently Portuguese, English and Spanish.
