I would consider myself an enthusiastic and responsible person looking to find a part time or full time job in childcare. This opportunity is exciting to me as I love children and their energy brings out the best in me. Previously, I have worked in areas of childcare as a babysitter and nanny for children ages 3 to 11, having done this continuously since 2017 for several families. I often babysit children on an evening, playing with them and then putting them to bed, however more recently I have been picking a 4 year old girl up from school and making sure she is fed, then either playing or helping with any homework she has. She is Italian so I have also been helping her with English and language skills. For me, it is important to encourage children to learn about the world around them, however it is equally important to be a part of helping them socialise and express their amazing imaginations/ creative skills through play. Despite only being young myself I have really enjoyed my time working in childcare so far, and I believe this is because I am a caring individual with lots to give back to the world. I would love to go further with developing my childcare experiences and to be able to apply these traits to helping your family.
