I have a level 3 certificate in Childcare and early years and extensive experience as a Nursery Nurse starting from my work experience at school and doing babysitting for friends and family. Since school I have always wanted to work with children and worked myself up the ladder in Childcare and gained so much experience and qualifications. I received the Apprenticeship of the year award at college last year while studying my level 3 childcare for my hard work and commitment. I had a break from childcare in 2012 to gain my qualification in Health and Social care. I worked for Royal Mencap and gained experience working with venerable adults with learning disabilities. Although being a support working was very worthwhile and rewarding, I soon realized that I missed working with children and childcare was the job for me that I am passionate about and soon returned to childcare. I have always loved working with children and babies and have 4 years childcare experience. I worked for 2 years in a baby room and found nothing more rewarding than caring for them. I now work with children aged 2-3. I am trusted by many parents at my setting and have babysat for some of the children I care for.
