I have many years experience of babysitting for families I knew through church growing up and, in my teens I had regular childcare commitments which included housework, cooking, bathing and bedtimes routines. I also volunteered on summer camps in roles including crafts director and camp nurse. While my past babysitting/childminding jobs have usually been for people I know already, I am wanting to take the opportunity to use my childcare skills again and help out local families. Currently, I am a nurse for adult patients in the local hospital, but have previously undertaken paediatric first aid courses, so also feel I am able to respond well in difficult situations and can deal with injuries easily enough, keeping your children safe as possible!
