I have worked in a Play-scheme and after school club while I was at school and College, so I have experience with school age and slightly younger children. My parents are also foster carers (and my mother was a qualified childminder before that) so even in a non-work setting I have been around a lot of children from a lot of different backgrounds, and it is something I enjoy thoroughly! I am currently looking to start a job as a teaching assistant in a Primary school, so working with children is something I am looking to do at a professional level. I love finding fun activities to do and am great at finding common interests which allow me to build a bond with each individual child. Because of this I excel at one to one time however because of my previous experience I am confident at handling small groups such as siblings.
