Dear families, My name is Jasna. I am qualified nursery nurse with childcare level 3 diploma. I have recent DBS check and Paediatric First aid. Since I came to UK, I worked with two families like a nanny and in one nursery like a pre school nursery nurse. I spent 1 year with one family and 1.5 year with another family. My job included looking after children's safety, but also about emotional needs and development. I would take them or pick up them from the school / nursery, prepare tea and dinner for them, play, give them a bath, read with them and do homework. I tried to develop habit of daily learning and I am very happy that I had success. When we would make a plan how to spend day, learning time was always in, like time dinner time or play time. I believe spending a lot of time outside is very useful, so I try to arrange playdates, visits to parks and museums regularly.I had good communication with parents about my job and I would always write a diary about time spent with children. The parents I worked with didn't have any complaints about my job but they were always confident that children were in the safe hands. References are available and checkable.
