I am a 22 year old student, home for the summer after completing a year abroad studying in Avignon, France. My degree is in French and Politics at the University of Manchester. During secondary school I spent 6 years volunteering as a helper at my local Rainbows and Brownies units. This included running sports and crafts activities, going on trips and being responsible for small groups during the day, and going on sleep-away camps where I carried out my usual responsibilities plus overseeing mealtimes, various outdoor activities and morning/bedtime routines. I also have 3 younger siblings and come from a big family with lots of younger cousins/relatives so I have 20+ years of more informal childcare experience!
