I am a mum of 2 children now in their early 20’s. I have worked as a nanny for 8 years. I was a sole care live out nanny for 7 years with the same family, looking after fraternal twins since they were 4. This included full nanny duties, getting them to separate schools and clubs, preparing healthy vegetarian meals from scratch, homework help, play and fun, while keeping them safe! I also do 8 hours weekend respite care a month for parents of a 7 year old boy with autism. Before this I worked at primary school as a Nursery Nurse in early years for 8 years. My most recent role was looking after a 4 and 10 year old with the parents working from home. The 10 year old has Asperger’s syndrome. Full nanny duties again, but I also took on additional tasks as the mum has a disability. My availability is only on Mondays and Tuesdays as I am now working in elderly care the rest of the week. I am looking forward to finding my new role.
