Hi, my name is Jade and I am 21. I am French and I came to England in 2016 as an au pair. I was taking care of a 6 months old baby boy full time and by myself, and I looked after him until he was nearly 3. I was taking him to playgroups weekly, organising activities with other children for him to have interactions and develop his social skills, as well as taking him to the park or the library every afternoon. I also have two young sisters, aged 4 and 7, that I’ve always been looking after. In my last year of high school, I also worked in a nursery as an assistant. If the family is interested, I can teach the children french when I look after them, as it is my native language. furthermore, I love baking, cooking and reading. I cook and bake with the children I look after and i read stories to them. Besides, I have early years education toys as learning aid for the children and I arrange playgroups, park visits and soft plays necessary for social growth and stimulation of the children. Currently, I am looking after a 1,5 year old and a 3 year old at their house, and I have been looking after them for more than a year. Their parents have given me very good references, which I can provide upon request.
