Hi I'm Jack and I'm an international relations student at the University of Exeter. I'm an only child but l come from a huge family and this is where most of my babysitting experience come from. I am a godfather to a 3 year old boy and have regularly looked after him and his three older brothers (4,7 & 8) over the last few years. In addition to this, before deciding to go to university I worked as a full time tennis coach for 2 years with a focus on young children and I currently have a part time job leading STEM after school sessions at a primary school near to my university. The bulk of my childcare experience has come from working as a camp counselor at a summer camp in the USA. My current job at the camp is head of residential life which means I'm the on duty staff member at nights for around 120 boys aged 7-15 and in charge of another 35 staff members. This role has given me huge experience in working with the most challenging situations from behavioural issues and homesickness to illness and injuries.
