I have a 10 year old severely autistic ( non-verbal) sister who I have looked after since she was born I am 18 and did a year course of child care and worked with children also . From previous jobs I have always been able to bond with children. I am one of my sisters cares as well as my mum but when she is busy I am always there I have been able to teach her day to day things for example words, meanings and how to do day to day activities. I am an amazing listener and I have a lot of patience’s as I share a room with my autistic sister so I’ve have to learn to have patience I have been around my brother also who has autism and there is only 14 months between me and him so I have be able to learn to tolerate different mood swings and how children think as a lot of autistic children don’t act the age they are so I’ve been able to understand how to be around other children from experience at home .
