I am 20 female, studying at University in Glasgow. I have always been surrounded by younger children who have been trusted in my care. The neighbourhood where I lived in Cambridge was a community with many young families and children from baby age to young school children. I would often babysit for the families of an evening and put them to bed, or take them for an afternoon. I also exclusively took care of two children once a week for two years, aged 5 and 7. Which included picking them up from school, playing at home or helping with homework and occasionally feeding them. Despite having moved to Glasgow for university, the children still ask after me, and I have a maintained relationship with the family. The family live in my childhood home and I have known the children since they were born. I additionally worked as a Voluntary Teacher for a 2 week placement at Little Ace Nursery Cambridge. Volunteered running a youth after school sports club at St Matthews primary school Cambridge, for 3 hours weekly for 6 months as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award. I have two brothers, older and younger, and grew up in Cambridge. my younger brother has ADHD. I'm studying English and law at the university of strathclyde.
