About Me: I have a passion for the outdoors, love reading and creative writing and so I always aim to make sure that the children I am looking after are engaged in creative and educational activities - I think children often learn best when they are doing something imaginative and practical. I have a good sense of humor, but am also sensible and take care ensuring the safety of any child. I am honest, reliable and time keeping and organisation are very important to me. I am more than happy to help with homework, household chores (cooking/ cleaning etc) and do various outings. My Experience: I am a qualified primary and secondary special education needs teacher. I have a range of both mainstream and special-school experience, as well as non-classroom experience with young people. I have worked with toddlers, primary school age, teenagers and special needs children with mild to significant learning difficulties. Other experience includes babysitting, morning kids clubs, church youth group leader, and leading on holiday camps.
