I'm a positive and enthusiastic person who loves meeting new people. I have years of experience babysitting my two nieces (both aged 10) and two nephews (aged 7 & 14) involving school pick ups, weekend trips out and night stays. I have a plethora of experience (paid and volunteering) in a range of roles. I have most recently been working in both SEN and mainstream primary schools including reception and year 3. In this job I have worked 1:1 with children with Autism as well as in a typical teaching assistant role with groups of children. I've also spent a couple years working as a support worker in youth groups and summer play schemes for children aged 11-18 with Autism and additional needs. In primary schools I've also worked in sports roles in both trampolining and netball clubs. I enjoy being active and organising engaging and fun activities for the children. I achieved 9 GCSEs all grades 6-9 (B-A* equivalent) and 3 A levels (AAB) in English literature, Psychology & PE. I have a sports leadership award, a BPS certificate and have undergone an E-learning course in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. I also just received my manual handling qualification.
