I am a creative, caring and patient person and I absolutely adore working with children. It’s my belief that children should be given the room to truly be children. I think that nannies and babysitters such as myself have an obligation to ensure that children are made to feel comfortable and supported so that they can play, explore and learn in a safe environment and I pride myself on making sure that always happens. I have been working in childcare since I was 13 when I started babysitting for several families in my local area, I did this throughout my school education. During my time at university I worked with different nurseries over the holidays and after university I took my first nanny role, looking after twins in a sole charge role. Since then I have worked for 5 different families with children ranging from 0 months to 5 years, every family was different and I loved working for each one. I worked as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery with 3-4 year olds. This gave me valuable insight into all elements of child development. I was also key worker for 5 children, responsible for their development and ensuring that they happy and thriving during their time in nursery.
