I have had the wonderful opportunity to obtain lots of experience in the childcare industry! From the age of 12 I was assisting in ballet classes at my dance school, helping to teach the younger children and encouraging them in their classes. I also have additional experience in childcare from working in a nursery for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. At this nursery I supervised children with activities and games throughout the day, whilst ensuring the childrens safety and making sure they were happy and engaged. My current job is at a before and after school club for primary school students. Here, I also organise interesting activities for the children, as well as help to serve food/ drinks and clean the setting, developing a knowledge of health and safety regulations for myself.
