I have a range of experiences in care experience. Over the past 2 years I have been a volunteer within YMCA Lurgan, this has been a role that has allowed me to work alongside young people aged 9-18, supporting and mentoring them throughout their personal and social development. Ensuring that every activity we plan and participate in is solely needs led and appropriate for every member within the group. I also have completed my Level 2 certificates in Child Care. I also have experience as a Health Care Assistant working working within Hospitals, LGH and CAH. Although, this is a role that isn’t necessarily supported by young people/children but I was able to care for older patients with feeding, personal care and administrate medication if needed. Within any job I have been in whether it be paid or volunteer, cleaning duties have been a massive role within this and one I take very seriously as a committed team member. I like to ensure cleanliness and hygiene is kept to a high standard.
