My name is Holly, I am 25 and I live in the Rotherham area. I’m interested in a change of pace, hence searching for a part time job in child care. I have vast experience in health and social care, the majority of my time has been taken up caring after the elderly people within our community. I have also looked after young adults and children during my time in the social care setting. As a teenager I completed a placement in a day nursery, here I enjoyed communicating with children, parents and staff alike. I like to think I’m fun (maybe a little bit daft and silly too), I enjoy incorporating learning with play and believe this encourages the children to want to learn. In my spare time I care for my fiends children when and if they need me. I’ve taken care of my best friends 2 young boys on many occasions, from birth and now the eldest is 5 (I cannot believe how fast they grow up). The eldest boy has autism and it’s been such a journey watching him grow and develop into the confident and independent individual he has become. I don’t have my own children, yet, so I am flexible. The only responsibility I have is my dog, I’m great with all animals and will also willingly care for these in any household too.
