A fun, bubbly individual with a natural affinity with kids. I have an undergraduate degree in childhood studies with special educational needs and inclusion. I also have practical experience from my previous job role, working as the deputy manager of a breakfast and after school club within a primary school setting, catering for 70+ children from the ages of 4-11 on a daily basis. During my time here we provided a fun and engaging environment where children could feel relaxed either before or after the school day as well as entertained by various activities. We also ran a holiday club for the children, where we would have days filled with different activities which would aid development whilst allowing children to have fun in the holidays. I also gained my safeguarding qualification as well as my pediatric first aid certificate. I have volunteered and participated in placement as part of my degree which has allowed me to develop my childcare skills to provide children with supportive and stimulating environments to help develop their social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs.
