I am a well experienced provider of looking after children in a variety of roles, I have worked with children from the age of 3 to 18 years of age. I am educated to degree level with a good honours degree. As part of my studying I have explored the role of education for the age range stated. Therefore I will be able to help your child with both numeracy and literacy, as well as all other National Curriculum subjects, plus helping them with homework etc. I use play to help develop the whole child in all aspects of their development. I build positive relationships with both children and their parents. I view my role as supporting the parents in bringing up their child/ren. I believe in setting firm boundaries as children thrive more while boundaries are in place. I am kind, caring and fun who enjoys working with children. Children enjoy my company as I focus upon their needs and interests. I am creative in doing this through making and playing games, I use drama to make books come alive as well as involving the children in cooking and other activities. Prior to my teaching role I have worked as a nanny to 2 different families with great success. I enjoyed both roles as I developed positive relationships within the family.
