Hi my names Heidi I come from a very big family with a lot of cousins, due to me being the eldest i have always been seen as the role model for my younger siblings/family members and chosen to look after them all. I’m great with children at any age. Being well thanked for my care and always recommended to friends of my family as I have been described as ‘exceptional’ with children, I’m very extroverted and a lot of fun to be around. I often enjoy doing practical tasks with the children I look after as I have a keen eye for art and creative hobbies and very much enjoy creative expression across the board despite all this I know when I need to be firm. I always try to make the children feel as comfortable as possible when looking after them as when I was growing up my babysitters did not fit the bill, and made me and my siblings feel rather uncomfortable under their care, either with dismissal, or appalling before towards us all. So with my care I strive to make the children feel respected and heard as it’s the right way to look after your children.Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
