Hey! I’m Hayley. I am 28 years old and originally from London. I have been babysitting professionally and informally for 4 years, on and off. I started babysitting my young cousins while studying for my MA in Social Anthropology in 2020 and continued in a professional capacity for family friends. I currently work as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate for a women’s aid charity, for which I undergo DBS checks. Additionally, I have dog/house sat for 6 years, a pursuit I began during my undergraduate degree in Canterbury, Kent. I studied A-Level Psychology, where I learned about child development which I have continued studying. I consider myself deeply self-aware, emotionally regulated, and kind, always taking the time to empathise and actively listen to others. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with children and passionately believe in promoting healthy child development and well-being. I have backpacked multiple times, served as a camp counsellor at a summer camp in the U.S., volunteered on animal conservation programs, and taught English to teenage girls from the Khmer and Hmong hill tribes in Laos as part of a girls empowerment program. I also run a jewellery business and hold a PADI Divemaster qualification.
