I have volunteered since the age of 13 years with young people with additional needs for a local Charity and has lead to be becoming a part of the staff team in October 2021. At Ileap I work with a verity to people ranging from age 4 upwards with a wide range of needs. I also work one to one with young adults on day trips catering there individual needs. This led has lead to me securing employment as a learning support assistant with young people with autism and ADHD, which I have been doing since August 2021. I have excellent references and an enhanced DBS check. I listen carefully and try to offer a personalised service that promotes independence, builds confidence and raises self esteem. I go the extra mile to assist in a way that empowers the individual to live their life on a level playing field in their community.
