Following formal education, I have taken an employment journey within childcare in a residential setting, hospitality as well as gaining the opportunity to become a wedding planner. Each role has changed me as a person and helped to adapt to people and to become whatever a person needs me to be for them. I am incredibly fortunate to have a beautiful niece and nephew ages 3 and 9 and who I have been entrusted to look after regularly including over night stays since they were very small infants. I believe that the role of a nanny is that you do all you can to ensure that children are encouraged to be well rounded, passionate, sensible and aware of the world in your care while not somewhat overtaking the role of the parent. I believe it is important for children to be able to see a solid working relationship and bond between myself and the parents.
