My 6 years childcare experience has taught me how rewarding it can be everyday and also the importance of providing children with a safe a fun environment to learn and play in. I have been lucky enough to have experience with all ages from birth to 7 years, which I believe has given me more confidence in caring for children and understanding the importance of each individual child within my care. I enjoyed working in a Nursery, however have been a nanny for a year now and absolutely love it, I enjoy working more closely with familys, providing fun activities and days out. Experience; I worked full time in an Montessori Ofsted Outstanding nursery for 3 years with children aged 2 and a half to 4 years, during my 2 and half years here my daily duties include -preparing the nursery to ensure a safe environment throughout the day - ensuring my parents are kept up to date with their child’s development -teaching general life skills and promoting good manners -assisting with toilet training and self help skills -preparing children to become confident for their next step in life... big school!
